Be Merry Card

Time to Do: 45 minutes (create more than 1 card to save you time in the long run)

Instructions
1. Cut the green cardstock to 4 1/4 x 11". Score at the center and fold.
2. Cut the polka dot paper to 1 3/4 x 4 1/4". Adhere the paper to the card.
3. Machine sew with white thread around the outside edge of the card, except around the area covered by the polka dot paper.
4. Using the Cricut machine and Celebration cartridge, cut out a round scallop tag at 4" [blackout ] from red cardstock. Cut out the tag center at 4 1/2" [blackout ] from white cardstock. Machine sew the center to the tag using green thread.
5. Using the Cricut machine and Christmas Cheer cartridge, cut out the reindeer at 3" [] from kraft cardstock. Cut out hoofs and antlers (brown cardstock) and collar (green cardstock) at 3" []. Adhere the diecut pieces together. Adhere the finished reindeer to the tag. Attach the red brad for the nose. Outline the eyes, ears, and mouth with a brown fine tip marker. Adhere the finished tag to the card.
6. With the Cricut machine and ZooBalloo cartridge, cut out the letters for "be merry" at 1" using red and white cardstock. Adhere the letters to the card.

Snow Kissed Layout

Approx Time: 45 minutes

Instructions
1. Cut a large snowflake using the Accent Essentials cartridge and a dark pink cardstock.
2. Adhere to light pink background, letting a small bit run off the page. Trim edge.
3. Mat photo onto white cardstock, leaving a 2" edge on the right. Add a strip of pink cardstock to that space with buttons at the top and bottom as shown.
4. Adhere photo mat to lower right corner of layout, overlapping the snow flake some.
5. Cut out "SNOW kissed" using the Platin SchoolBook Cartridge.
6. Cut circles using the Accent Essentials cartridge to place on the snowflake. Adhere.
7. Add buttons to finish.

Instructions
1. Cut dark brown cardstock to 4 x 5". Score at the center and fold.
2. Cut a strip of green cardstock to 1/2 x 4". Adhere the strip to the placecard.
3. Using the Cricut machine and Celebrations cartridge, cut out a square scallop tag at 2 1/2" [blackout ] from red cardstock. Cut out the center for the square tag at 2 1/2" [blackout ] from orange cardstock. Adhere the orange center to the red tag.
4. Using the Cricut machine and Doodlecharms cartridge, cut out the turkey at 1 1/4" [] from brown cardstock. Cut pout plate and foot cover at 1 /4" [] using green and white cardstock. Adhere diecut turkey pieces together. Adhere the finished turkey to the tag. Adhere the finished tag to the placecard.
5. Using the Cricut machine and All Mixed Up cartridge, cut out the letters for the name at 1" using green cardstock. Adhere the letters to the placecard.
6. Attach the brads to the placecard.

Christmas Gift Tags

Christmas Gift Tags

Approx Time: 30 minutes

These tags are fun and fast to make using your Cricut! This is a fun project to do. You can complete a variety of tags using scrap pieces of cardstock.

Instructions
1. Using a variety of cardstock colors, cut out 3.5 inch tags using the "tag" option on your Cricut machine and the "Christmas Cheer" cartridge.
2. Once you have cut out your designs, adhere each one to a complimentary-colored cardstock. Trim around each one with a scissors leaving a thin mat.
3. Punch a hole in each tag top.
4. Stitch around each tag as shown. This adds a ton of texture! Or if you prefer not to stitch just adhere with your favorite glue.
5. Loop your favorite ribbon through each tag to finish it off in style!

Happy Holidays Wreath

Happy Holidays Wreath

This is a very EASY and affordable wreath to make--just use pieces of scrap fabric or ribbon you have in your home.

Instructions
1. Using the Cricut Expression/Accent Essentials Cartridge, with multicut/fit-to-page on, cut Accent#2 and Accent#2 shadow, from chipboard.
2. Paint Accent#2 shadow with gold acrylic paint and set aside to dry.
3. Some chipboard sheets are white on one side. If you don't have these types of chipboard sheets, paint one side of the Accent#2 with white acrylic paint and allow time to dry. The white side will be the front of the wreath.
4. Once dry, knot two pieces of fabric/ribbon together and weave in and out of the squares, securing the two fabric pieces in another knot on the outside of Accent #2 on the bottom. Tie pieces of different-colored fabric/ribbon in knots all around the circle.
5. Using the green thread, sew buttons "here and there" to the fabric/ribbon that is tied to Accent #2.
6. To make the hanger for the wreath, loop some ribbon, and staple the bottoms of the ribbon to Accent#2--staple them so they are hidden behind the tied fabric/ribbon.
7. Place this piece on top of the Accent#2 shadow, so that the gold-painted piece shows through. Staple these two pieces together behind the pieces of tied ribbon, so that the staples don't show through on the front.
8. Using the Cricut Expression/Beyond Birthdays cartridge, (be sure to turn multicut/fit-to-page off), cut Happy Holidays from the pink cardstock and its shadow from the green carstock at 3.5-inches.
9. Using black ink, stamp the burlap or any small pattern on top of Happy Holidays (pink cardstock). Attach the Happy Holidays to its shadow and outline with black pen. Attach this sentiment to the center of the gold-painted Accent#2 shadow.

Oh Happy Day! Layout

Instructions
1. Adhere an 8x10 photo on the left side of your 12x12 piece of white cardstock.
2. Using a 6x12 piece of green cardstock, cut three 1.5 inch strips. Scalloped the edge of these (I did mine freehand.)
3. Tucks the ends of the green strips in under your photo to make a frame. (See layout) Trim the third piece to fit the shortest length (about 9 inches long.)
4. Using the polka dot Cricut paper cut into three strips (each 2 inches wide).
5. Scalloped the edge of two of the strips (I did this freehand, but you could also trace a scalloped piece of cardstock).
6. Tuck the scalloped papers under the green cardstock to form a double frame. Trim the third piece to 9 inches long and adhere under the right side of the green cardstock coming flush with the edge of the white cardstock.
7. Using a Cricut and the "Making the Grade" cartridge cut a 4.5 inch "Happy Day" and a 2 inch "Oh" out of red cardstock. Adhere on layout.
8. Using the same cartridge cut a variety of stars and outlines (use the shift function for the outline.) Adhere three of them to the layout as shown.
9. Add a "beautiful you" sticker.
10. Add some black pen dots along the scalloped edges.

Instructions
1. Ink the edges of a white cardbase blue.
2. Ink the edges of 2 strips of patterned paper and adhere to the front of the card.
3. Cut a circle from patterned paper and ink the edges. Adhere to the right side of the strips of paper.
4. Cut out the cocoa mug using your Cricut and the Christmas Cheer mug.
5. Cover parts of the cocoa mug with glitter, and adhere to the circle of patterned paper.
6. Cover chipboard letters with glitter, and adhere to the front of the card.
7. Accent the card with rhinestones, and finish of the sentiment in black rub-on letters.

Instructions
1. Create base of layout. Use one 12" x 12" piece of white cardstock as base of layout. Trace circles onto dark brown cardstock to create ring. Cut out and adhere to layout as shown.
2. Cut title. Using Cricut machine, Base Camp cartridge, and green cardstock, cut 1 1/4" letters to spell "day". Using red cardstock, cut 1 1/4" letters to cut "of". Using pink, green, red, and purple cardstocks, cut 1 1/4" letters to spell "1st Kindergarten". Using dark brown cardstock, cut 1 1/4" letters to spell "Kindergarten".
3. Cut one 2.5" x 7" strip of notebook style paper for journaling. Mat strip next to 5" x 7" photo onto one 7.5" x 7.25" piece of bright pink cardstock. Cut two photo corners from green cardstock. Adhere photo corners with matted rectangle in lower left-hand corner of layout overlapping circle.
4. Cut award ribbon. Using Plantin SchoolBook cartridge and green cardstock, press Shift and cut one 3 1/2" . Using red cardstock, press Shift and Shadow feature and cut one 3 1/2" to cut shadow. Layer two cuts and draw stitching on with black cardstock.
5. Attach award and title to spell ?1st day of Kindergarten? around ring, spacing evenly. Set eyelets inside ring. Add journaling.

Instructions
1. Cut 5.5" scalloped square using the Mini Monogram cartridge or scalloped scissors.
2. Use the envelope Coluzzle template to make a brown envelope. Cut the flap again using the striped paper.
3. Adhere the striped flap to the brown envelope and the envelope to the scalloped square.
4. Cut 2 different sized flowers on the dotted paper using the Accent Essentials cartridge. Layer on top of each other using a pop dot to adhere.
5. Cut two flourishes using the Accent Essentials cartridge. Arrange on card with flower. You may have to trim the flourishes to make them fit correctly.
6. Add button to flower.
7. Cut "Miss You" greeting using the Beyond Birthday cartridge. Adhere to card.

Instructions
1. Using Tags, Bags, Boxes, and More cartridge, cut a 5" gift bag from purple cardstock. Assemble.
2. Using George cartridge, cut a 2" moon from yellow cardstock.
3. Using Animal Kingdom cartridge, cut a 2" cat from black cardstock.
4. Adhere cat to front of bag just to the right of center.
5. Attach beads for eyes.
6. Cover moon with clear glitter and adhere to front of bag to the left of center using dimensional adhesive.
7. Cut a 1 1/4" primitive star from yellow cardstock using George cartridge. Adhere to handle on right side with white brad.
8. Cut a 1 1/2" tag from white cardstock using Tags, Bags, Boxes, and More cartridge.
9. Stamp "boo" on tag using green ink, and attach to bag with orange ribbon.

This was a fast and fun card to create! I just love the Simply Chic Spooky Stamps--too cute!

Instructions
1. Cut card base to A2 size in purple cardstock-5 1/2 x 8 1/2 in. Ink the edges with black ink.
2. Cut orange cardstock mat -5 x 3 1/4in and then sew around around the edge.
3. Cut orange striped paper 3 1/4 x 4 1/2 in., ink edges using black ink, and adhere to card front.
4. Stamp the ghost using black ink onto white cardstock and cut it out.
5. Cover the ghost in glue and sprinkle with transparent glitter.
6. Adhere onto card front with pop-dot adhesive.
7. Cut out green bubble using your Cricut and George Cartridge-1 1/2in.
8. Stamp "boo!' with black ink onto bubble.
9. Trace word with glue pen and sprinkle with purple glitter, adhere to card front.
10. Tie black ric-rac to card front and add small black ribbon knot.

Instructions
1. Using your Cricut Expression cut out the following circles: 9 inch white 5.5 inch blue 5.5 inch orange 4 inch green
2. Stitch each circle onto the layout with a zig-zag stitch as shown.
3. Add a 5x7 photo as shown.
4. Using the Rob & Bob chipboard letters add a fun title (mix up the letters for a whimsical feel).
5. Add buttons as shown. (I glued mine down, but they would look adorable stitched!)
6. Add journaling on strips as shown.

Instructions
1. cut a 3 inch strip of dark pink cardstock and adhere it 2 inches from bottom of light pink cardstock page
2. matte a 4 x 6 inch photo on 5 x 7 inch white cardstock, use large scalloped scissors and make a border around the photo.
3. use 1/8 inch hole punch to make a lace design in the scallops
4. adhere photo and matte to the right side of the layout over lapping the dark pink a little.
5. cut out of green cardstock using the ZooBaloo cartridge a 5.5 inch tree
6. cut out of brown cardstock using the ZooBaloo cartridge a 5.5 inch tree using the "lower layer" function
7. cut out of blue cardstock using the ZooBaloo cartridge a 1 inch birds in nest
8. cut out of light brown cardstock using the ZooBaloo cartridge a 1 inch birds in nest using the "lower layer" function
9. adhere the tree trunk to the green tree
10. adhere nest to blue birds in nest
11. adhere completed tree with birds nest to the left side of the layout on top of the dark pink strip
12. cut out of light brown cardstock using the ZooBaloo cartridge a 1.5 inch welcome
13. adhere the "welcome" underneath the tree to the right
14. cut out of medium pink cardstock using the George cartridge a 4 inch tag.
15. hand write your journaling on tag. tie white grosgrain ribbon to top. adhere tag to right side of dark pink strip, overlapping the photo a little is fine.

Instructions
1. start with green cardstock
2. attach a 4.5 inch strip of Rob and Bob striped paper 2.5 inches up from bottom of cardstock
3. mount a 5x7 photo on white cardstock. use big scallop scissors to cut out a frame around the photo.
4. attach photo and frame 1 inch from left side and top of green cardstock
5. cut 5.5 inch USA from blue cardstock using Going Places cartridge, attach 1 inch from right side and bottom of green cardstock
6. cut 3 inch "wish you were here" in a circle from orange cardstock using Going Places cartridge
7. cut 3 inch foundation circle from light blue cardstock using Going Places cartridge
8. join the foundation and title and attach to left side of USA
9. use a punch to make the "astericks" out of light green cardstock.
10. cut 3- 1 inch airplanes from dark orange cardstock
11. draw and cut a line from dark green cardstock or roadtrip paper showing your two points of travel
12. put together your "travel line" with line, astericks, and planes
13. write city names on astericks
14. cut 3- 1/2 inch strips from orange flower paper, attach them to right side of layout
15. add journalling to these strips

Instructions
1. First, mat photo on a scalloped piece of cardstock. Punch holes using an Eyelet Setter. Set the eyelets.
2. Then make the flower by cutting ovals out of cardstock using the Coluzzle oval template.
3. Cut the title using the Cricut "All MIxed Up" template.
4. Attach the mat, the flower, and the title to the page.
5. Attach a piece of green ribbon for the flower stem using Terrifically Tacky Tape.
6. Freehand a leaf out of green cardstock. Add to page.
7. Use a black pen and draw stitching around the flower petals and leaf.
8. Add journaling and photo corners.

Instructions
1. Cut red cardstock to 8 1/2 x 11".
2. Cut red party dot paper to 6 x 11". Adhere to red cardstock and machine sew with a zig zag stitch using orange thread.
3. Cut red/orange party stripe paper to 4 x 11". Adhere to layout, and machine sew with a zig zag stitch using green thread.
4. Cut blue cardstock slightly larger than photo. Adhere photo to cardstock, and then adhere to layout.
5. Using Cricut machine and George cartridge, cut out a 5 1/2" circle [, shift Q] using orange cardstock. Then cut out a 5 1/2" silhouette circle [, silhouette shift Q] using green cardstock. Ahere circle and silhouette circle together.
6. Using Cricut machine and George cartridge, cut out a 3" heart [, shift heart] using red cardstock. Adhere to circle. Machine sew around edges of heart using a straight stitch and red thread.
7. Adhere circle to layout.
8. Using Cricut machine and Beyond Birthdays cartridge, cut out "create joy" [] at 3 1/2" using blue cardstock. Adhere to layout in the circle.
